Directly at the big parking area of the Imster Mountain Railways in Hoch-Imst, Harald & Christina Juen operate their traditional family business. Its extensive range of ski school, sports equipment rental, ski- & snowboard services, shop and mountain guiding, excitedly EVERY winter sportsmen.
1963 founded Herbert Juen the "Ski school Landeck-Zams-Fliess" and Karl Juen the rental "Venet Skiverleih".On the other side of the world, but still deeply connected by the love of winter sports. In 1965 Professor Stefan Kruckenhauser first sent Herbert & Karl Juen to Japan to train Japanese ski instructors. Since then our ski school and family has forged a close friendship with Mr. Ueki, who is the director of our partner ski school in Myoko.
In 2001 Harald & Christina Juen took over the Venet Ski Hire business from Harald’s uncle Karl Juen. The following year, in 2002, Harald’s father Herbert Juen handed over the Snow Sports School Venet. The large-scale renovation of the Valley Station in 2006 extended the business to a new, modern sales floor totalling 300m².
Since 2009 Venet sport is a partner of Sport2000 rent and works according to the regulations of the ISO norms.
In 2010 the business expanded by taking over the Ski School in Hoch Imst and became a member of the well-known brand ‘Kinder Club’ (‘Kids’ Club’) with Bobo, the popular penguin mascot. Special training for our staff and child-appropriate design of the practice areas guarantee a high level of safety and minimization of danger.
Whether rental material or the reservation of a ski of course, can be also offered for our guests, of the south side of the Venet ski area. To ensure that guests in Fliess will find the same offer as well in zams, a other branch was opened 2014.
Our ski school was distinguished 2015 with the “Quality Award – Snow Sport Tyrol”.
The Tyrolean Ski Instructor Association further advances the internationally valued quality of ski schools in Tyrol. For the first time, this new seal of approval creates measurable quality criteria within the Austrian ski school system. Only the best ski schools, 32 of 300 in Tyrolean, receive the Quality Award following a rigorous examination. Ski schools distinguished with this award guarantee a top quality standard. We are proud to be one of them!
To ensure quality assurance for our guests, we have in December 2016 merged with Ski School Imst-Venet. As a result of this merger, we are now able to address the interests of our guests even more effectively and offer our comprehensive programme with selected staff. With constant effort and in-depth further training, we will continue to guarantee a high level of satisfaction of our customers.
